2024 Theme: Always Abounding in the work of the Lord
Our main focus for the year will be evangelism. We had a number of baptisms
last year and we want keep up that effort to increase the number of converts.
We had a good amount of evangelism and this year we need to excel even more.
We had a good number of people involved in evangelism but this year we need
more members sowing the seed. Jn 15:8 By this my Father is glorified, that you
bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
We need to encourage and feed the flock. We will continue to offer the best
possible worship to God. We will also start a new Bible class curriculum.
Waldron’s “Lamp to my feet” 3 ½ year study through the Bible series. This will
give direct Bible teaching to the congregation. Teaching the whole Bible to all
members. This will require us to make a big commitment to teaching. Rom 12:10
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
We want to encourage each member to do daily Bible devotions and personal
Bible study. We also want to strongly encourage everyone to excel in daily prayer
God’s children are to be busy doing good works. Titus 3:14 And let our people
learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need,
and not be unfruitful
We are to be joyful and show hospitality to each other. 1 Pet 4:8 Above all, keep
loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show
hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it
to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:
This year let’s all see how much we can do for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s make
Christ our life. Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in
God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in
glory. Let’s do what the Corinthian church was encouraged to do. 1 Cor 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in
the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain
